How do I join?

 

STEP 1: BOOK A CALL


Use the form on our contact page to request a consultation, or call us on 0117 403 7600.

 

On the call we’ll get to know you better, answer any questions you have, and provide you with all of the information you need to see if we are a great fit.

 

STEP 2: COME IN FOR A CONSULTATION


After our phone call we’ll meet in person. We want to get to know you and learn more about you, your lifestyle and where you need guidance. We want you to come in and get comfortable with the space, the team, and the other members.

 

STEP 3: CHOOSE THE PROGRAMME FOR YOU


Our services are designed to provide the expertise and accountability you need. We will work with you to find the right programme for you and your goals to set you up for success from the very beginning.

 

Do you have to be over 40?

 

We specialise working with women over 40 and our programmes are set up to deal with the struggles that over 40s have around exercise.


Our community is made up of women in their 40s, 50s and 60s. However, we do have a number of younger (and older) women that we work with us because they prefer the personalised support that we provide that you can’t get in a commercial gym.

 

Can I use the gym on my own?

 

We are a private personal training gym, however with certain memberships, you’ll be able to book slots to come and train in your own time.  

 

How long are the training sessions?

 

Our Semi-Private training sessions are 50 minutes.


 

Can I train online?

 

Yes, we offer online programmes and have a number of online clients working with us who are getting some fantastic results! 

 

I’m really unfit. Will a programme like this work for me?

 

Yes most definitely. Our programmes are specifically aimed at beginners. They’re set out from the start to ensure you ease into things gently.

 

We provide regressions and progressions for every exercise to ensure that you work out at a suitable level for you.

 

I work long hours. Will I be able to fit it into my current lifestyle?

 

We are open from 6:30am-8:00pm with sessions available every morning, lunchtime and evening on weekdays.

 

We are also open on Saturdays from 8am – 12pm

 

I’ve tried diet and exercise in the past, how is this different?

 

We never put you on a diet, we provide simple strategies that you can use to get great results and still enjoy the foods you love. This approach means that you’ll never feel restricted.

 

How much do the programs cost?

 

We have a number of options available and prices vary considerably depending on what level of support and coaching you receive. They range from £115 - £368 per month depending on how often you train and what you need.

 

How often do I need to train?

 

For best results, we recommend 2-3 x per week. However, if you are new to exercise or are already active away from us then you can still get good results coming in 2x per week.

 

What should I do if I’m finding it hard to get motivated?

 

We offer so much support here at Empowered Fitness, with a friendly team always here to help. At any point, if you find yourself lacking in motivation or slipping back into bad habits, then just speak to a trainer at your next session and ask to book a re-focus session. How long are your contracts?

 

We have 6 and 12 month options available.
We also have trial programmes available if you’re not sure which programme is right for you.

 

Is extra personal training available?

 

Yes, if you require more support then one-to-one personal training is available at £50 per hour or £30 for a semi-private session.

 

Can I upgrade or downgrade my membership?

 

You can upgrade or downgrade your membership at any time by entering a new 6 or 12 month agreement.

 

What happens if I am unable to use my membership for a period of time?

 

If you are unable to use your membership for a month or more, you can freeze your membership for a monthly fee of £20. This means you will be able to keep your current price and pick up just where you left off and not miss out on any sessions.

  • Members may freeze their membership by giving us 14 days notice prior to their billing date.

  • Membership freezes are for a minimum of one month.

  • If you are unable to train due to medical reasons, your freeze will be free of charge. Please note that medical evidence must be provided.

How do I cancel a session I’ve booked in to?

 

Personal Training Appointments – please give us 24 hours notice to cancel your one-to-one session with us.


Cancelling after this point or a no-show will result in you losing that session.

 

Semi Private Training Sessions –  you can cancel your class reservations using the Zen Planner app up to 3 hours before the start of your session or by emailing us at info@efitbristol.co.uk. Please do not cancel via the Facebook or Whatsapp group.

Will I lose my sessions when I go away on holiday?

 

If you have planned holidays for less than 1 month and are unable to attend your personal training sessions, please let us know the dates that you will be away prior to your holiday by emailing us at info@efitbristol.co.uk.

 

We will then set up an additional package so you can make up your sessions missed.

 

Please note: Make-up session packages will expire after a 4 week period and requests for backdated non-attendance will be denied.
