2016: What happened at Empowered Fitness personal training?

At this time of year we all like to reflect on what has happened over the last 12 months, what we’ve achieved (or haven’t achieved!), the good things, the bad things, and importantly, what we hope for in the year ahead.

2016 was certainly a milestone year for us at Empowered Fitness, so I am personally very excited to see if 2017 will top it! The biggest achievement for us was moving from renting space in a local personal training studio, to opening our own studio. The space was designed by myself and created with people in mind who don’t want to work out in a regular gym space, and want help with nutrition without ending up at Slimming World.

It wasn’t an easy project to take on, but with much patience and many hands helping out, we opened on time and without too many hiccups! The feedback from our clients has been incredible and that’s so important to us. Since opening in September, we have doubled the number of clients that we serve, and I believe this is down to us having a better location, and continuing to provide the best quality personal training programmes in Bristol.

2016 has also seen a few changes to the team whilst we found the right people to create our dream team. We are now 4 strong, with Chris and Laura working as personal trainers and Fran as our administrator, with myself heading up the team. The expansion in team members has also meant that we are now able to open 7 days a week!

One of our goals for 2017 is to double again the number of clients that we serve. But, while the volume of people grows, it’s important to us that we still provide the best personal training in Bristol, so we will continue to invest in health and fitness training for our team, and give our clients as much value as we possibly can, always with a fun and personal touch.

Here’s to training together in 2017!
