Date your health & fitness

A bit of a strange subject line, I know.

But allow me to explain…

When you are dating in regard to relationships, we all know it’s best to take it slow, progressively, and thoughtfully.

When it comes to food and fitness, people want to do the equivalent of marriage on the first date.

Instead of making small and sustainable changes over time (like courting in dating), they want to go all in on day 1.

Thinking you’ve got to go from 0 to 100 in an instant to get results is simply a recipe for failure.

If you reflect on your history or the patterns of someone you know who’s always on a diet, you’ll see this is true.

So, if you want to lose weight, get in shape, or just get yourself healthier, my best advice is to go slow. Look at it as a progression rather than a destination.

And like the dating scenario, there’s no real rush to hurry up and get there – no matter how it might feel when you start.

But if you are ready to start, please let me know by replying to this message. I’m here to hold your hand every step of the way so this is the last time you ever get started again.

I got you.

Amy
